Firm History
GWA, Inc. has been assisting clients with their electrical engineering needs dating back to the early 1970s.
In 1972, Guy H. White, III and two partners formed Tectonics Engineering Consultants, Inc., a multi-disciplinary firm providing electrical, mechanical and structural engineering services.
Tectonics reorganized into three independent engineering companies in 1987. Guy White & Associates was established as a specialty electrical engineering firm and was incorporated in 1994, the same year that Dickson O’Brien started working with the company.
In 2001, Dickson O’Brien purchased Guy White & Associates, Inc. and in 2005 officially changed the company name to GWA, Inc. The firm, built upon the original principals and solid foundation established nearly a half-century ago, continues to evolve and provide innovative electrical engineering solutions for its clients.
