The National Advocacy Center is a multipurpose building incorporating a hotel; meeting and conference rooms; offices; food service facilities and courtrooms. It is owned by the University of South Carolina and leased to the U.S. Department of Justice as a training center for Federal Government attorneys.
Electrical engineering included general power distribution; lighting; provisions for food service; special sound recording and playback systems for courtrooms; a television production studio; security systems; fire alarm system; emergency power system with automatic transfer; a television distribution system and site security and ambient lighting design.
